2019 ASA-World Free Medical Mission

Anambra indigenes from the Diaspora; a world-wide global partners in services group and their well-wishers fondly known as “ASA-World” is again, ” fired up and ready to go” on its annual December “brother’s keeper” Free Medical and Diaspora-Stakeholders Engagement Mission.

Dear Sir/Madam/Hon/Ms/Dame/Dr./Hon./Chief/Emeritus /Esteem Professionals….;

Anambra indigenes from the Diaspora; a world-wide global partners in services group and their well-wishers fondly known as “ASA-World” are again, ” fired up and ready to go” on their Annual December “brother’s keeper” Free Medical and Diaspora-Stakeholders Engagement Mission in Anambra State of Nigeria.

The theme for this year’s December 16 – 22, 2019 Free Medical and Diaspora-Stakeholders Engagement Mission is; “Capacity Building; investing in health and wellness to build stronger and wealthier Anambra State”.

A CALL TO SERVE: We are again, asking all our well wishers, supporters, philanthropists, NGOs and  our associate “all-around” good people who share our vision and “think home philosophy”, that all human beings; those disadvantaged and those living on the margin of the society, should have Free access to basic Medical treatment, to please “pay it forward”again. In other words, to those whom much are given, we are please inviting you again, to do the “Godly thing” and return that kindness bestowed on you in the pat yea(s) to help the less privileged.

Membership in ASA-World are not by happenstance. We are all driven by the need to give back to our community and by our respective desires to take care of the less privileged, the marginalised and the disadvantaged. 

ASA-World is the umbrella organization of Ndi-Anambra in the Diaspora. We are non-profit initiative of Ndi-Anambra from across the globe; Canada, United States, United Kingdom, Spain, South Africa, Russia, China, Japan, Ireland, Iceland, Holland, Pakistan, India, Dubai, Greenland, Germany, Switzerland, Finland, France, Turkey…….

We are a 501(3) (c) charitable tax exemption designation. Donors are able to write off their donation to this annual free community development initiatives.

LOGISTICS: This year we are starting this Free Mission from December 16th and ending with round table discussion, AGM and Diaspora Engagement Summit on December 22, 2019 with AGM and Diaspora Engagement Summit scheduled to begin at 3:00 pm. 

HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED? Our ability to purchase medication, surgical supplies, remunerate support staff and volunteers that are needed to carry out an effective mission depends heavily on the goodness of our members, well wishers and sponsors, who generally pledge a minimum amount of $3,500.00(1.3 Million Naira flat) to sponsor their towns and or a designated town of their chosen.

Donation to support the Free Medical Mission is on a rolling basis, but the deadline to sponsor a town is July 15, 2019. Payment for all sponsored towns must be received no later than July 31 2019.

Abagana –  Designated date Open, 2019

Ezinifite, (Aguata LGA) –  Designated date December 20th, 2019

Abatete  – Designated date December 21st, 2019

Hurry! Add your Town/City while the space lasts; there are still room for two or three more towns to be filled (Sorry! First come/paid, First Serve!! 

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: an overwhelming number of the population that we treat annually present with issues ranging from vision care, Diabetic, High Sugar/blood pressure, enlarged Prostate, Breast cancers to minor issues that progressed because of lack of access to medical treatment.

Because we know that our hands will be full as in every years, we are inviting Clinicians, physicians, pharmacists, Nurses, Dentists, Optometrists, Opticians, Specialists to join us on our efforts to give back. We do not care about your State of origin. Doctors and or/ Medical Practitioners from across the globe are welcome! All medical practitioners, Social workers, who are willing to donate their times, services, money and or/ medical supplies to this noble course are also, welcome!
