We investigate and resolve service gaps in our homeland and where and when necessary support the government’s efforts in meeting these.

2017 Ukpo Free Medical Mission

We used our 2017 Annual General Meeting (AGM)/Diaspora Engagement Summit to engage our youth(human capital) in finding developing needs of the States, relevant to Sustainable Human Capital Development. The AGM engendered action plans for maximizing Diaspora impacts on how the Diasporas can best work in concert with all the Stakeholders in meeting the development needs in our homeland, A renewed call to work together with all stakeholders from cross section of our people, home and abroad in contributing to the improvement of our home state’s Sustainable Human and Infrastructural Development.

It was also, unanimously agreed that our December 20 -23 2017 “scaled down” Medical Mission was a colossal success from all counts. Challenge for December Mission was also outlined by the attendees to include starting the 2018 Mission early December and finish week or so, before Christmas , increase the number of towns being visited and to use geo-senatorial Medical facilities for follow-up and in keeping ASA-World abreast on the status of those treated requiring follow-ups.

2017 Obatete Medical Mission

“Action plans” for attracting “Investments” and businesses to our home state that may lead to increased employment opportunities for our youth(Human Capital), fundraising scheme to support our year round community development initiatives, a heightened “working together” concept that is guaranteed to add value to our collaboration with the Stakeholders in making a difference in the lives of our brethren.

Also, resolved was the logistics for ASA-World 2018 International Summit/Conference in Toronto, Canada. Respective member countries reaffirmed their commitments attend the Toronto Summit and to participate in hosting this Annual International Summit/Conference and to use the Summit to solicit fund and support for succeeding free Medical Mission.
Happy New Year to all. In “Anambra” we trust! In Anambra Spirit we perform!! In brotherhood we accomplish!!!
